From the very start, Andy made the process of condo-buying accessible, easy-going and informative (he explained HOA about 5x). His understanding of the nuances of the Portland housing market specifically is unmatched and accurate, even when adding on the uncertainties presented by the pandemic. He is friendly and honest, both personally and with his real estate knowledge, providing first-time condo buyers learning opportunities and a critical eye as it is needed. Andy was willing to work around the clock to help find the right place for us (we saw 30 units in 3 days and we made an offer on the 3rd day) and at times he met us at the viewings on very short notice. After a long, patient search (Covid, job change, etc.), Andy helped me land a great condo in the Pearl District after looking for almost two years. While Portland is a great place for a single family home, my partner and I wanted a a modern condo and not every agent has the experience in both areas, but Andy knew all the buildings, what the neighborhood was truly like, the benefits of certain areas/buildings within the Pearl, etc. Beyond that he was amazingly patient, super friendly, always available and helpful (twice we flew up to visit on short notice to look at places and Andy had everything set up instantly. Andy is fantastic and I can't imagine getting into Portland without his help.
